first! the overclocking part

ive manage to pretty much adjust the adjustables.. but
i cant move the power limit pass 100% how do i even do that?

the stupid part

you see this GPU doesnt have 1x6pin connection
but i see some mark where that thing should be place..
is it safe to put(solder) a 6pin female connector on that?

thnx 😀

Solution
and yes! I can do that.. I've been fixing things like Mboards and Vcards.. but mostly Mboard..
I still don't recommend it because you would have to edit the BIOS too. Far too easy way to brick series 10 GPUs.

Screw PSUs. Fixing them is like opening Pandora's box.
I was gunning for 970 at first but my PSU might cast explosion spell on me
450W+ PSU should work (970 uses about 100W more than Palit 1050Ti). I don't know your full spec so I can't do calculations or give advice.
You can also use negative power limit to lower it's power usage till you upgrade as PSUs are pretty cheap.

Based on the BIOS config, It's locked.

It's like delidding CPU. If you're a professional with experience at modding and troubleshooting, go for it. If not, don't kill it for 5-10% boost.

If you want better performance, sell your 1050 Ti and get a second hand (half the price) 970/980/980TI with 14+ days return time and test it. Might get cheaper with 20 series release too.
