Palit GTX 1070 Dual 8GB vs MSI GTX 1070 Armor OC 8GB

Hi, I can't find too much information regarding the Palit Dual but the little I have read was complaints about the GPU's cooler.

So I was wondering whether the MSI is really that much better, personally I like the look of the MSI card a lot better, but regarding performance I don't know much.

My options are Palit GTX 1070 dual for $555.68 or MSI GTX 1070 Armor OC for $713.29 (Prices here in South Africa :/ ).

Which is better, how much better and why is it better?

1070 is a low power card.
MSI Armor is a relatively simple cooler. So I doubt it is much better than Palit Dual. Definitely not 160$ better.
Anyway If later you unhappy with temperatures or noise, you can always buy a NZXT G12 bracket and some compatible AiO

If price is not a factor, between these two, I'd side with the MSI GPU. If you can source from other locations, you could look into Galax's HOF range of cards...?

Any reason why you prefer the MSI card over the Palit? Is it because it is a more known brand?
