My gpu fan is suddenly spiking. It's Palit GTX 1080. In normal circumstances it was alway off (0%) on idle until it reached temperature over 55+

Now in the interval of 8 seconds, it suddenly spikes to ~ 1040 - 1095 rpm and drops back to 0. Temperature is about 50 degrees.

No issues in BIOS. The spiking starts only after full boot.
Nvidia Drivers updated to latest.
Fans spins normally when the gpu reaches higher temps

Could anyone point me into the right direction?

Unfortunately no answer from forum but seems I have figured it out if it helps anyone.

The GPU had a thin line of when the fans were turning ON which was 54 degrees and OFF when 53 degrees. My GPU was always 53 degrees on idel. Reaching 54 degrees, fan control turned fans on GPU temperature instantly went back to 53 which caused fans to switch off again, causing that weird constant spike behaviour.

I though the issue was gone, but it still happens even when the gpu like 50 degrees. For some reason when i spin fans on max through aftrerburner and off, they stop doing that for a while and then the issue comes back.
