Yes. It was the previous flagship of the Maxwell series. It is on par with a GTX 1070 thanks to its factory overclock. For a comparative perspective:
IF the 980 Ti is a 100 points
The 1070 is 103 points
The 1060 is 70 points

So @1080p with even ULTRA settings you can expect 60-90 FPS Depending on the game.

Yes it's still a good card. I'm using a Gigabyte 980Ti with a 2560x1080 ultrawide monitor.
