Hah with this über crappy card I got the core clock to 300 and the memory to like 375. Man but this card sucks so bad... Dont ever buy it.. Its becoming a keychain

Ya me too heres another worthless post

u said it. Oh, BTW, i had overclocked mine to 340/540 using the RivaTuner 2. But still with my 1800+ overclocked to 1900MHz, i would get only 7550 on 3DMark 2001.

😱 Ever wondered...how would u reset ur brain back to normal/default if u could ever overclock 😎 it???

a4amd, if you expect me to believe those speeds for the card and cpu, u better have water cooling.
if that axp is a palomino or tbred a core, w/o water cooling, thats a bit hard to believe.
and the core on the graphics card is believable, but not the memory, not w/o extensive cooling and some luck getting a hell of a good card.

Long live ATI.

oops i see in another thread a4amd that u have a geforce 2 mx400. your post here is very misleading.
but with that in mind, those speeds are believable.

however an 1800 palomino or tbred a core going past 1900mhz or more w/o water cooling or at least a good ass heatsink/fan (slk-800 + vantec tornado) is NOT COMMON.
if youre running a kt333 board its a little easier, but if its kt266 then its not common.
sure peeps will say oh i got my 1700 palomino to 2000mhz w/some decent air cooling. most people that say that are bsing you, ive known 5 people with kt266 boards and various palomino and tbred a core XPs with decent to good air cooling, and they cant pass 1800-1850ish mhz (one of which is a tbred a 2000). so speeds like that on those cores are not common, esp. on kt266 boards.
maybe kt333 boards yield better results, but i dont know what u have.

Long live ATI.

williamette sucks..

j/k 😉

I used the heatsink off of mine as a south bridge cooler, and used the card to mod my case (Capacitors glued on top, card used to make a "frame" for a blow hole. Now just for those handles and a ghetto-fabulous paint job....

eBay, kick ass!

One of the coolest (pun intended) paperweights I ever purchased came bundled with a retail AMD CPU.

Hey WS, here is my setting, t-bred A 1800+ overclocked to 1900MHz @ 1.9V. Yep, the GPU/Memory settings were indeed 340/540 but not without artifacts. Now i have set it to 340/513, which is the best setting without any artifacts. And NO, i dont have water cooling. Its all air-cooled.

Now, i bot a t-bred B 1700+ DUT3C JIUHB and I have till now got a stable setting at 2137MHz (12.5*171) at 1.9V with the stock HSF. The temp is: 45C idle and 56C full load. Again, its all air-cooled. The AGP settings remain at 340/513. i cud push the core speed of the GPU a little more, but i got to save this card till i lay my hands on 9700PRO.

Oh, my MX440 is ASUS make. Doesnt matter, u might say. It does. My friend got a cheap make MX 440. its default setting is 250/350 (mine is 270/405). as much as i tried to tweak it, it wudnt go over 320/400 at all. so that makes me conclude my ASUS MX440 has better memory chips.

And, Oh, BTW, i am on a ASUS A7V8X (KT400) mobo.

😱 Ever wondered...how would u reset ur brain back to normal/default if u could ever overclock 😎 it???

memory to 540 is fast but the card that im talking about doesnt have DDR memory... its just shittacular

Remember kids, if you see a downed power line, suck on the end, candy comes out!

yeah but you know what - i had a Palamino 1600 @ 1.4GHz on air-cooling with an MSI KT3 Ultra mobo and I couldn't get that f#cker to OC for sh!t... so maybe he's not so long-winded after all

Well, I mine-as-well spill my guts, because I have a POS GeForce4 MX440 SE 64MB DDR.

I have the GPU clock at 350, and the RAM clock at 550. Now mind you that this is WITHOUT a fan on the heatsink. Infact, the heatsink is pretty chinsy looking. I have no heatsinks on the RAM either. I can get the GPU up to 392, but it gets artifacts as it warms up. The RAM goes to 589, and the same thing happens, artifacts as it warms up. So I slowed it down to 350 and 550, and I have no problems.

However, the card does still suck ass.

Water cooling is for the weak. Get liquid nitrogen.

those are pretty good speeds - mine clocks at 300mhz for the GPU now (and on top of it i've got a crystal orb on it), and 405Mhz for the ram... i find that any LOWER gives me artifacts

I tried raising my core clock. so far i have tested it to be running well till 384Mhz. anything higher and the system hangs in 3DMark 2001. And the memory runs fine at 513Mhz. Anything higher than that, say, even 520 and i get artifacts.

somebody stop me!!
