Hi,

My client has the above mentioned printer and needs to print labels with it.
The labels are 1.5 inches high, the width isn't a problem.

I can't set the form lenght for this printer to what I require. I tried
sending control codes to the printer to set the lenght, but it just doesn't
work. I've used the docs for the PR-9101 (Raven), which is supposedly the
same thing as the KX-P1180 for which I couldn't find a manual.

The code I used, in decimal, is ESC+C+0+n where n is the lenght in inches. I
also tried setting the number of lines per form, ESC+C+n where n is the
number of lines. No matter what I try, the form is always 11 inches. It
just doesn't change. I can change other parameters of the printer with
control codes, but changing the form lenght simply doesn't work.

The problem they are seeing is that each time a label is printed, the
software issues a form feed, so the printer skips a bunch of labels and then
prints the next one at an incorrect position. What they need is for the
printer to form feed to the next label.

Any ideas ?

Thanks !!

Steph

If I remember right the KX-P1180 could emulate an Epson LX-800 or an IBM
Proprinter depending on dip switch settings. There's plenty of information on
the web about these. E.g.
