panasonic tv wont show display, windows 7 64bit

i have the intel i7 4770k now i have run into another problem. when i connect a the pc via a hdmi cable through both motherboard hdmi output and graphics card output nothing comes up on screen however windows does recognise the tv. when i make the tv the first display nothing comes up.
the tv is a panasonic TX-L32EM6B. i am using windows 7 64 bit and asus radeon 7870 HD, the motherboard is msi z87gd65 gaming.

Remove the graphic card and plug in vga cable to the motherboard.
