Paper clip test

I did the paper clip test / bridging to my psu and all works well but the fan runs slower then it would when plugged into mother board, can anyone explain why it does this and if thier is a way to speed it up?

Why are you doing the PC test? something wrong?
I have had a PSU pass the test and still not be able to power a system.

The fan is probably thermally controlled. I'm not sure what the best way to speed it up would be.

All I am trying to do is add more external fans off another psu so I can cool my gpu/cpu down a lot more, it just runs very slow and id like to make it faster.
