Paper not feeding into printer

I'm using a Canon inkjet printer, while printing papers it is not feeding into the printer that causes papers to jam inside printer. Solutions to this problem will be appreciated.

Usually, fanning the paper to loosen it up a bit before loading it into the printer, prevents that from happening.

I've tried it out but after the paper gets loaded it keeps on showing an error message or paper gets jammed. My printer is 2 years old and I've refilled my cartridge just before 5 months.

You don't need Windows 7 assistance, you need an ASSISTANT period. 😀

There is a piece of dirt/paper stuck in the platter, not unlike a stuck copier.
