Paper tray on HP Laserjet 4 printer

how do you get the paper tray open on a HP Laserjet 4 printer

The paper tray is in front of the printer, on the bottom. Grasp the tray near the front bottom middle of printer, pull horizontally with a smooth motion.

Voila, paper tray should be open.

The HP Laserjet 4 from the 1990s had a pull out trays. You pull out the tray. If I can remember you dropin the paper into the tray. The tray had an adjustment for paper size.
