I have wifi in my home. I want to install a pair of security cameras inside a building about 400 feet from the house. My wifi signal is too weak inside the building for them to work, so I need to boost it. All I need to do is connect the cameras to my wifi. Basically I want to do something like this:

I already have a good used parabolic antenna that was previously used to receive wifi, but all I have is the antenna. It has a short coax lead with a female N connector. What additional components will I need to complete it? Adapters, cable, router, etc? Links would be helpful.

I would recommend a pair of Ubiquiti nanostation loco AC. https://store.ui.com/collections/operator-airmax-devices/products/nanostation-loco5ac
You then use standard ethernet cable to connect the at each end. Mount each unit outside pointing at each other. Much simpler and more reliable.

I'd rather not run more cables and an antenna on the house. This setup should work, it was used in a similar application before by the place I got the antenna from. But I don't know what I need on the building end besides a N to SMA cable. How do I connect the antenna to the router or repeater?

You have to run the coax. How is that different than ethernet? I can't recommend what to do in the RF area. I don't recommend that implementation.
