Paralell port adress

Hii ,
there is a hp compaq desktop , phonis award bios . in this bios ., there isnt any knowledge and setup about parallel ports.i had
learnt from XP hardware manager , parallel ports io is about EF00 - EF07 . but i dont know registers true place . where is the data port , etc, please help me.

The only thing there might be in the bios is to enable or disable the parallel port(s). Can you explain what you mean by "registers true place" are you just wondering the name of the port? Should be LPT1. Are you wonder the DMA? I/O Ranges? IRQ?
