Do any of these parts have compatibility issues?

CPU: Intel i7 7700k
GPU: Radeon rx 570
Motherboard: MSI Pro Series Intel B250 LGA 1151 DDR4 USB 3.1 micro-ATX
Power Supply: 460 Watt
Ram: DDR4

Solution
An i5-8600k requires a Z370 chipset. Z279 won’t work.

The Scythe Mugen 5 Rev B and Thermalright Macho Direct are excellent coolers. They rank right up there with the top air coolers.
1. What motherboard would you recommend?
2. 460W is all I know due to the computer being pre-built and that is all it says. (What power supply would you recommend?)
3. 8GB 2400 DDR4

1) You have two options:
- Step the processor down to a 7700 non k and keep the same motherboard. Saves costs.
- Pick a Z270 Mobo and a CPU cooler. I can bet that the cooler used in that build is the stock unit from another chip since the 7700k does not come with one. This should be good:

To allow for future upgradeability and also it is a quality unit.

3) Is this Single channel ( 1 x 8GB) or Dual Channel ( 2 x 4 GB)?

The 7700 (k) is last gen and if you are buying new better to go 8th gen, with the 8600k giving at least 95% of the performance of the 7700 (k) at a cheaper price. That said, if it is your only option, the 7700 (k) is still a good chip but is known to run hot.

What is your budget? Perhaps there are better options.

As of now, I’m thinking about getting the i5 8600k. My current budget is 400-500. I think I’ll get the z270 mobo or a Z370? Which do you recommend? What cooler do you recommend for this CPU instead? And would the same power supply you recommended be good for this setup? Also, the RAM is a dual channel. Thanks.
