michaelr8709 :
1. What motherboard would you recommend?
2. 460W is all I know due to the computer being pre-built and that is all it says. (What power supply would you recommend?)
3. 8GB 2400 DDR4
1) You have two options:
- Step the processor down to a 7700 non k and keep the same motherboard. Saves costs.
- Pick a Z270 Mobo and a CPU cooler. I can bet that the cooler used in that build is the stock unit from another chip since the 7700k does not come with one. This should be good:

To allow for future upgradeability and also it is a quality unit.
3) Is this Single channel ( 1 x 8GB) or Dual Channel ( 2 x 4 GB)?
The 7700 (k) is last gen and if you are buying new better to go 8th gen, with the 8600k giving at least 95% of the performance of the 7700 (k) at a cheaper price. That said, if it is your only option, the 7700 (k) is still a good chip but is known to run hot.
What is your budget? Perhaps there are better options.
