partition drive

i'm currently running windows 2000 on an unpartitioned 40 gig hard drive. i'm fairly new with computers, and when i was installing i thought i partitioned the drive in half, but obviously i didn't. i was wondering if anyone knows of any reliable programs that will allow me to partition my hard drive without erasing anything? i've looked over some of the programs at download.com and the only one i've seen so far is aefdisk 1.9.... by the way, thank all of you who helped with my last question, you all's advice was very helpful.

Yes, Partition Magic (especially version 7) is VERY good. It's the exact thing you need, and it works very well.
