Partition drive's VHDX file taking up space on local drive

I have a 1TB HDD partitioned into two drives: C and E.

Recently through WinDirStat I found a file called SSDD.vhdx in the C drive which is apparently the E drive. My problem is that this file is astronomically large at 200+ GB, so it's occupying my C drive for no reason.

Everytime I add or download new files onto the E drive, the vhdx file in the C drive just keeps getting bigger. My space is running out and I'm truly desperate and I don't know what do.
