Partition error urgent help

I am trying to install windows 7 ultimate on my acer laptop. It had a windows 7 ome basic and i have deleted it and also deleted the 2 extra drives which were holding 8gb and 200mb respectively, And the windows is showing an error :
"Setup was unable to create a new system partition. See the setup log files for more information

You need to delete all the existing partitions using the Windows Setup DVD, then try installing again.
