I was creating a partition in Disk Mgmt. of which I might add I not proficient in. I got to the point of choosing the size of the partition and that is where I go blank. I don't know if I got distracted or what but that seems to come natural with age. In any case my c drive has been reduced but I see no sign of the partition. I would to set my drive back to default. All help is greatly appreciated.

Not sure about that.

It looks to me like you have 2 drives.

1; a 120 GB internal that has about 35 GB of unused space

2; a 4 TB external of some type that is virtually empty.

What was your motivation in "creating a partition" that you refer to in your first post?

What problem were you trying to solve?

Looks to me like both of your drives already have partitions.

3 on Disk 0 and 1 on Disk 1.

I guess it sorta of a hobby of mine just meddling with computers, websites and operating systems. I was adding a partition to put windows 7 on for dual boot. I have one pc with 10 and 7 and was working on having another. I have found all the updates for the 7 OS and others like XP. I also have dual boot with 10 and Mint. I guess getting old and just trying to use my mind as much as I can to keep it half way working:) To the problem, check this screenshot. I am not sure but looks suspicious. Any thoughts and thanks
