I just installed my SSD, I got everything installed, my HDD is now installed and in boot menu I have my SSD booting first, then my HHD. My question is I heard you should partition so when I download new games and such it will let me choose where to download the file. I know to go into disc management but am I partitioning my SSD or my HDD? And what space am I looking for?

Side Note: In documents and under "this pc" I have my Local disc (C: ) with 931Gb of free space (My SSD) and then a Local Disc (F: ) which I'm assuming is my HDD given it has 1.35TB of free space (was a 2TB hard drive). Does this mean its partitioned already or what? I'm sorry, I just don't know this stuff well.

Solution
1. Verify the system actually will boot from the SSD, and the SSD only.
Power off, disconnect the HDD, power up.
Does it boot? Probably.
Reconnect the HDD and continue.

2. The E drive letter on the 2TB HDD needs to go. Right click on that, Change drive letter or path...Remove that drive letter.

3. How much data is on each drive?
If sufficient space exists on the 1TB SSD to hold everything you wish to keep on from the HDD...
Create a folder on the SSD for this. Call it MyStuff
Copy everything from the HDD that you wish to keep, into this new folder on the SSD.

4. Now....we delete ALL partitions on the HDD, leaving one large space.
This will become a single partition, that you can use for whatever.

5. Assuming we now have a blank 2TB...

My goal is to basically add all my games to the SSD and if possible leave pictures and discord and stuff on my other harddrive if possible.

You can use that space for whatever you choose.

For Steam games, installing them to this drive is easy:
Steam games location
In the steam client:
Steam
Settings
Downloads
Steam Library Folders
Add library folder

Solution
And once I've done that, can I put games on that big space or do I have to put the games on the SSD in order to play them from my SSD?

And as for booting my SSD solo? I did it a few times during my installations while my HDD was still disconnected.

Yes, you can have the games install on the HDD.
You can even make that the default install location if you wish.

The Steam client can be on the SSD, and games can be on the HDD>
No problem.
