how would i be able to add more gigabytes to my SD card?

because i don't want to buy a new one with a bigger gigabyte value for more hours of recording video

If there is unallocated space you can widen the partition. But, I don't think you'll get an enormous amount space. Your better off getting a bigger SD card.

Download the home edition of EaseUS:
http://www.partition-tool.com/landing/home-download.htm

Just click on the SD card and Resize.

You may want to back up any data before doing this.
