Partitioned SSD on installing Windows

I just reinstalled Windows 10 on my new computer. On opening, the SSD drive is already partitioned in two: this PC C: and DATA D:. I wanted to use the SSD to install games and the HDD to put my files on. Is this normal? Should I leave it like this or should I do something? What is there to be done?

Thanks a lot!!

You are missing some information here, did you install Windows on the SSD or the standard drive? The SSD would not be partitioned that way unless you did it while installing Windows on it, if that is what you did.

If you are using the SSD as your main drive, I'd just partition it as one drive.

I did install clean install Windows on the SSD, but I have no memory of partioning.

How do I partition my SSD card as one drive? Will this be beneficial to me?
Thanks a lot!

One partition is easier to work with especially since you have a second drive for files. It's very odd that you ended up with two partitions on a clean Windows setup. Was this a used drive or new one? When you install Windows you can select the drive options, then delete all partitions and create a new one. You may also be able to delete that second D drive and merge it into the C drive from Disk Manager.
