I am trying to turn my C:\ drive into two drives, say C:\ and B:\.
I am using Windows XP Home 5.1.2600 SP2
According to the Help function in XP Iam supposed to access the Disk
Management Function and "Right-click an unallocated region of a basic disk,
and then click New Partition, or right-click free space in an extended
partition, and then click New Logical Drive. "
However, no matter how much I right-click in any and all of the various
areas in the Disk Management window, nothing comes up. Not "New Partition"
and certainly not "New Logical Drive".
What am I doing wrong?
How do I resolve this?
Step by step, what should I be doing?
Does it matter that I have been using this drive for a few months now? In
other words there is a certain amount of data and programs on the disk.
Thanks
