Passport Not Showing

I have a WD Passport Ultra which powers on OK and makes no unusual noises but does not show in Windows Explorer (I'm using Windows 7). I've tried different PCs, different cables and even a dual USB cable to provide more juice. The drive shows in Device Manager and the drivers are up to date - in fact, I have other passport drives that work fine on the same machine, cable etc. I ran the DLG diagnostics and that found nothing wrong - so I am puzzled. Is there anything more I can try?

What about Disk Management, did you look in there ?

The drive is shown in Disk Management but has no letter assigned to it - and I cannot see an option to do so. It says that the EFI System Partition and the Primary Partition are healthy and that there is 128 Mb unallocated...

Only the Primary Partition needs to have a letter.

If I right-click on the primary the option to change the drive letter is greyed out...

So what's EFI (UEFI) partition doing on an external drive ? That's needed only on system (OS) drive. Did you try to install an OS on it ?

No - it is a WD Passport Ultra - this is how it came... it worked initially then stopped. I only use these drives for storage...
