Passwor needed to power up message

Hi, I have an hp computer giving me a need password to power on message. I was wondering if anyone else has run across this problem and might have a solution. I have tried resetting the bios with the jumper on the motherboard and by removing the battery on the motherboard, no luck. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

We can't help with passwords or password bypass techniques since we have no way of knowing that you are authorised to perform such actions, or that you are the rightful owner of the machine.
