Question Password on startup...

Hello all.

I ahve never dealt with this. My son setup an automatic password on startup. How do i get rid of it? It asks before loading the windows screen.

Ask the son for the password?

It is a setting that can be turned off. If it is the actual account/password there is a little dealio you have to go through doing a Pin to get rid of the account sign on to be replaced with what they call "local account" and then you can use the pin to get rid of having to use one at all if you like.

Just a side note that windows shares will not want to work right if you eliminate password sign on of all type.
