Password problems, always getting a wrong password message

Hello, first i have to applogize that i don't have very good detials, a girl in my class asked me to help her but i didn't know what she could do, so i am here. She said that she had one user on windows 7, then she added another and made it administrator. When she added a password for it, logged out and tried to login it said wrong password but with the hint she added, and when she used that password reset and tried another time same thing happend. Also without the password it is good, but with it it doesn't work apperently. I don't know if something similar happend to any of you, maybe you can help somehow, thanks in advance!

you don't understand, she can bypass it, she can use the user without the password, but when she puts it and tries to login it says it's wrong
