Password Reset

After installing a Windows 7 update, my computer restarted itself. When I tried to log in, it said that my password was incorrect. I have reentered the password multiple times, and also restarted in safe mode, but nothing is working. Is there anything else I can do, besides reinstall Windows 7?

Ophcrack does not work very well with Windows 7 as it can only find short passwords but is the only software around that can actually find the password. It may be better to use a password resetter program such as found on Hiren’s boot CD. Have you tried simply hitting the return key when it asks you for the password?
