Patriot Signature 8GB, is there a reason it is so cheap?

Admirable
So, I've been looking at memory for my future build, and I've noticed a few things.

RAM that could be considered average, like Corsair Vengeance DDR3-1600 can cost up to £80 for 8GB, yet Patriot Signature DDR3-1600 8GB can be purchased for only £43.

Is there a reason for this? It's almost half the price, but on specifications alone there is no difference!

There is nothing wrong with it. Since the specs are the same it has only to do with the competition between the manufacturers. Patriot is competiting the others in price and that's all. I said go with Corsair or Kingston because I have been using these two in all my builds and I have a nice experience with them. And yes I know they were more expensive...

Thanks for the answer, but that wasn't really the question. I'm getting the Patriot because it fits into my £375 budget.

What makes it so much cheaper? Is there a significant flaw to it? I see good reviews on PC Part Picker, so what is actually wrong with it?

Since you have a budget take them. You won't have any problem.
