"Patriot prices the Viper Steel DDR4-3600 C18 64GB memory kit very attractively, too. At
$239.99, the memory kit is neither cheap nor expensive. "
heh, this is the cheapest 64GB (2x 32GB) kit out there.
By far.
Closest competitor is almost 50$ more expensive which is 1/5 of the price (20%)
There are two 2x 32GB kits by Patriot : this one (Viper Steel) and Viper 4 Blackout. They are both rated at 3600/CL18, we already know Viper Steel doesn't like to be overclocked.
What about Viper4Blackout ? Would you mind reviewing it ?
Also, I feel you could/should mention one important thing : these 32GB modules are the only way how to get 128GB RAM outside of HEDT platforms. Ryzen with 128GB is niche market but it definitely exists - many people are running this instead of Threadrippers.
