Pavilion dv7 Graphics Driver Problem.

I just got a old Pavilion Dv7 4177nr and nomatter what AMD drivers i install or unistall neither gpu picks them up? Im wanting to do simple gaming and i need driver that work so the system will switch to the second gpu. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Full Specs:
HP Pavilion dv7-4177nr Entertainment Notebook
CPU:AMD Phenom II N640 Dual-core 2.9GHZ
GPU1: Mobility HD 4200 series??
GPU2: Mobility HD 5470s
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
RAM:6 GB DDR3 ( 2 Dimms)
HDD:Seagate 320GB 7200RPM

Let me know if there are anymore specs needed.

All this being the case, you will probably have to do what I do on my laptop and my Aunt's. Do a fresh install of Windows 7 and get it activated and all your hardware installed. Don't worry about doing all the Windows Updates, just make sure you are on Windows 7 SP1 (even if you have to download the stand alone package).

Then, once all the hardware drivers are installed, using a Windows 10 DVD, upgrade to Windows 10.

Once completed, you should be able to install the AMD Crimson Beta Driver, which was the last driver and only version of Crimson for the 5XXX and 6XXX GPU's.

I have gotten drives from HP and the AMD website, i have tried both Catalyst and crimson driver to no prevail. I even tried going to the device manager and updating them from there and nothing works.

I have, I've installed and installed that driver in many combinations with and without AMD cayalyst and crimson.

Yes, this laptop has a weaker hd 4200 series gpu for genral stuff and a stronger hd 5470 for gaming and rendering.
and there are no errors while installing. The catalyst sonrtol says there are no AMD drivers installed and i can only control the cpu through the control center

Im trying that now, im also trying drivers for the 4200 instead of the 5470 to see it that will work

It had Win7 on another hdd but it died and i put a fresh install of win 10 last night

I have only installed furmark steam tf2 factorio cpuz and the updates for win 10, i also have the newest bios update installed
