Pay to Repair Laptop, or Buy a New One?

My Razer Blade 2014 recently broke during routine use, and Razer support has quoted me $550-$650 for repairs. Currently on their website, the 2015 model is $799. Do I pay for repairs or sell the old for for parts and get a new one?
