That is an extremely capable build. I see a few problems with your build though, especially with the PSU selection. The NEX model comes with fairly poor components, so I'd advise swapping it out with a SeaSonic model. The other issues would be mainly of preference. Personally, I don't think the H500i is worth the money. You may want to look at the Meshify C from Fractal, or the P400S TG from Phanteks.

Also, if gaming is your only concern, then a coffee lake i5 8600k may suit you just as nicely for a considerably cheaper amount. Just food for thought.

This i7-8700K and GTX1080Ti is around 35% better in performance when compared to i7-8700K and GTX1080 combo which is a huge gain. GTX1180 is most probably gonna launch in a month or two if you can wait I recommend going for GTX1180 over GTX1080Ti.

Thanks for taking a look and the recommendations. Do you anticipate the release of the GTX1180 pushing the rest of the prices down or will it just take a higher price slot?
