Ben I have 3 PB 680 series Motherboards
Each has a riser card labelled 52f42

When I check Alan Computech
It says they are for the Hillary Series

Let me know your insight

What is the BIOS ID?

The senator from NY has a BIOS ID of 1.00.nn.BY0R.

The Orlando (more probable) board has a BIOS ID of 1.00.nn.DN0R.

Other possibilities are Thousand Oaks (1.00.nn.CP0R) and Fair Oaks
(1.00.nn.CP1R).

nn, of course, is the BIOS revision number.

The best way I know to find out is to boot up the boards and look at the BIOS ID
displayed on the screen. Intel has other identifying info on its boards, an AA
number and a PBA number, but often its OEMs removed this info to obliterate the
identity of the board manufacturer... Ben Myers

I just have the riser cards
I do not have the boards

The boards were PB 680 Orlando series
and the cards were with them and just in the box

They were given to me

The boards were not worth fooling with
Just left with the cards and memory and Cpu's

I do have one board left
I guess I can boot and try
I will at least get to use my AT power supply

I found the answer another way
I searched by Serial Number
It told me the riser card #
I had the needed one inthe teardown box

I was going to d some more research on cross reference #'s and compatibilty
My wife screamed up to me

Do you ever get off that damm computer
I figured I better worry about getting dinner first

Of the 4 boards given to me
One worked
It booted and posted at least
It recognized the flopply & HD

That is as far as i will go for $3.30 Ebay sale
that was listed as is

My test bed is for ATX boards

I had to search down an AT supply
Actually i had to swap one of my ATX supplies

I am trying to clean up my work area
I just keep piling things up

Luckily my regular job pays the rent
I do Ebay for the fun
I think

The Orlando board and a few other Intel-made LPX boards have a jumper to set for
the number of PCI slots in the riser card, FWIW... Ben Myers
