Hello,

I am hesitating between these 2 monitors for gaming. The specs seem to be identical except for the G-Sync module added to the PG27A and a response time of 4ms for PG27A vs 5ms for PB279Q. Now, since I have a 1080 Ti, and since I play stuff like Doom 2016, for which the 4K fps is measured at >60fps with the 1080 Ti, is there any reason I should get the PG27A? Here the PG27A is priced at $1249 vs $729 for the PB279Q so I could save a bit of money...

Thank you!

For me, G-Sync does not really provide insane amounts of difference when it comes to providing output to 4k Monitors as they can really tax your monitor. G-Sync would most likely be useful for lower resolution monitors with high refresh rate so that they can keep up with them. Again, both of them are 60 Hz refresh rate. Just save some bucks on the G-Sync. Different story if you're getting something like a 144hz monitor. There you can really appreciate G-Sync.
