so i have a pc (dell vostro 200, yes very old 😛) with a 300W PSU which works perfectly, but it doesn't have PCI-e nor does it have molex (for a graphics card) so i took the 600W PSU from a PC which isn't being used anymore and i put it in the dell vostro 200, but then the pc doesn't even start up.
it gives me orange light the whole time, thats it! (if you start it up normally it first gives a orange light for a second then it stays at blue)
which is really stupid because i can't put a graphics card in now... any help please?
(sorry if there are any english mistakes, im not the best at it 😛)

Let me break this down:
PC 1: Old, has 300W PSU. Let's call it PSU 1.
PC 2: Has 600 W PSU. Let's call it PSU 2.
So you are saying PC 1 works with PSU 1and PC 2 works with PSU 2. But, PC 1 doesn't work with PSU 2, right? If yes, then it seems weird since a higher power PSU 2 should be able to power PC 1 that was powered by the low power PSU 1. If it is anything else, please tell me that.

ye, PSU 2 doesn't work on pc 1, the pc doesn't even start up.
i hear the fans for about a second but then everything stops except for the orange light in the power button (which has to be blue if started up normally)

CPU: intel core 2 duo (as i said old pc 😛)
motherboard: foxconn G33M02
well, i wanted to use a sapphire radeon r7 260X because i got it from a good friend of mine but that one will never work on my pc (i think?) so i wanted to buy another one which may be good.

btw my pc specs are:
cpu: intel core 2 duo E6320 1860 MHz
psu: i don't know which psu it is but it has 300W (and no PCIe cables or Molex)
ram: 4GB samsung ddr3 (2x2)
motherboard: foxconn G33M02
gpu: none lol.

alright so, i got a new PSU from my friend: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817103213
it's a Zalman ZM400B-APS 400W.
this one works, my pc starts up! BUT, it doesn't have a 6 pin pci-e so i used a 2x 4-pin molex - 6-pin pci-e but then if i plug in 2x molex from the new PSU IT DOES LESS THEN MY OTHER PSU, doesn't give a orange light, doesn't even spin the fans for a sec!
so i only plug in 1 molex and it worked but i don't know if the GPU itself works now, probably not ofcourse... but why doesn't it work when i put 2x molex in the 2x 4-pin molex - 6-pin pci-e adapter?!?!?

edit: nope it doesn't work... WHYYYY 🙁

What I am guessing is that the PSU might not be powerful enough to do what you are trying to do with it. It might have worked with a higher power PSU (talking about the cable adapter), but a 400W PSU is already very close to what a power calculator gives for your system.

the 650W one is a delta electronics DPS650LBB
the zalman does not have 6 pin (unfortunately because it would probably have worked) but the 650W does but,
i have tested the 650W one out but now even without graphics card it won't work the zalman does work without graphics card.

Hmm. I am not really sure, but it seems that the higher power units you have are flawed somehow. I will say that you should go ahead and buy a new PSU that can handle the GPU. You could start from the suggestions I gave to you.
I can't say whether the 650 W unit you mention is a good quality model or not.
