I'm using a geforce4 ti4200 in clone mode connected to a 32inch widescreen
Philips tv via s-video to watch divx movies using wmp9, which works fine,
but when i run any direct3d software it displays fine on my monitor but i
only get about three quarters of the monitor picture on my tv (the bottom
and right hand side are missing) but when i move the mouse to one of those
areas it will scroll the tv picture to display the missing parts. desktop
and all other apps display fine just having problems with direct3d. open gl
seems to be fine also. tried different resolutions.
running xp pro sp2 rc2 nvidia drivers 60.85
thanks

driver maybe proble, thsoe drivers your using are desgined for GeForce 6800
series hence drivers name 6x.xx, anyways I myselft is using a xfx geforce 4
ti 4600 i use the 44.03 drivers, seems to be the most stable drivers for
geforce 4 ti series. hope that helps, if not good luck.

I think you need to set the resolution of both the clone TV out and the
monitor to the same thing otherwise you get the virtual desktop effect you
seem to be having.

Bring up display properties, nVidia applet.

Go to the nView tab and click on your TV ( display 1b, I think ). Then click
on Device Settings on the bottom of that screen and select "Change
Resolution." There should be an option marked "Show only physical panning
resolutions." Uncheck this option. and put the screen resolution to be the
same as yer monitor.

This should fix it.

Cheers
