Monitor: Asus ROG SWIFT PG279Q 27.0" 2560x1440 165 Hz Monitor

Games: Usually the latest games so Cyberpunk 2077 Assassin's creed Valhalla.. Mostly Variety stuff (I'd like to maintain at least 80-100fps on average In most games if possible running high settings)

PSU Is around 4-5 years old.
Oof. You're gonna be looking at at least a 3060 Ti which is £370 I think, upto a 3080 if you wanna play at ultra which is £650. 3070 at £470 is good middle ground.

The 3080 will need a bigger PSU, along with a better cpu and mobo so I'd say don't get that.

Best bet imo would be 5600X £230, B550 mobo would be like £160, RAM 3600mhz Trident Z Neo £130 that's £520.

Now you have 480 for gpu + psu. You can get 3060 Ti + new psu or 3070 and...

I would recommend Ryzen and maybe a B450 mobo for it as well. Ryzen is more versatile with what it can do. Maybe a RAM upgrade along with it, perhaps 16GB @ 3200MHz.

I think that PSU can chug on for a while tho. I am not sure

Plus you Can sell the ram cpu mobo and gpu for an easy £500 you're not really losing much lol

Any Recommendations for the Motherboard + PSU ?

I can get the 5600x for £299.99 on Scan + The G.Skill Triden Z Nero 32GB 3600MHz for £160 on Ebuyer.

Also finding a 3070 for £470 Is going to be a great challenge let alone a 3060ti

Corsair RM750x
Strix B550-F, TUF X570 plus, Aorus master for both.

You have a 2070 it's no slouch, just use that till prices settle. Maybe we'll even see a 3070 Ti or something can't really trust Nvidia not to bring something like that lol
