[SOLVED] PC acting very slow all of a sudden

My computer has recently started to act up. My CPU and my GPU sometimes just sky rocket , my RAM seems to use up a lot more memory than it did before for seemingly no reason as i don't have many background apps running at all. My hard drive, when i check in the performance tab in task manager, sometimes maintains a solid 100% active time with a high response time for a long period then drops to somewhere near 0% active time with a low response time. I tried checking if the temperature was a problem but it seems to maintain a good temperature. I have no clue where to even start to troubleshoot this as it all seems extremely vague. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try doing a malware scan with Malwarebytes. You can sort the tasks in task manager by CPU usage, RAM usage, disk usage, etc. to see what is taking up the maximum resources at any point of time. This might help figure out what it is.

Uh, Did you download weird stuff from discord?
MalwareBytes, Windows Defender and One other Antivirus of your choice.

No, funny thing is that I realized I had Avast so I deleted it and it somehow just appeared on my PC again recently, could that be something that could cause the problem

Just appeared again? Not sure what you mean by that man. Try Avast Uninstall Utility and see if it helps
