So, this is a really weird issue i cant really understand.

as far as i know, everytime i put my pc to sleep mode, and then switch the power off at the back (thought this would work cuz the pc would awaken out of sleep mode for no reason at all in the middle of the night).

but then when i turn it on, it gets power and the lights turn on, but its just completely dead.
not even the power button works when trying to turn it off.
so, i recognised this problem from before, the only time a pc acts like this is when the cpu is dead and i was worried, but first i thought i would remove the cmos battery and let is reset the bios and then when i turned it on again after it reset it worked fine and even booted up the used session of windows?
this happened 2 times now.

how does this happen?
and why does my pc even awake out of sleep mode for no reason?

thanks in advance.

Solution
Sleep mode is a low-power mode, not a no-power mode. Hibernate is what allows you to unplug as that's simply saving the state.

There are a lot of things that can wake a sleeping PC. Go into a command prompt and type powercfg -lastwake to get hardware info.

but how can it cause the pc to be completely unresponsive?
