PC Acts Odd When Connected To 4k Display

Hi all!
So, I'm trying to play a game on the TV that I recently got. Note: I have done this flawlessly several times. Normally, I have a two monitor setup. One is connected via DVI and the other by HDMI. My GPU only has one HDMI out. So I unplug the HDMI from the monitor and put it into the TV. Then the second display (VGA one) shows some weird white bars as the TV remains black. After a restart, the monitor remains the same but the TV boots to the login screen. This is weird because I have disabled the login screen through the registry editor. When I try to login, the screen cuts out for a second then takes me right back to the login screen, and I'm stuck in a loop where all I can do is attempt to login. But as soon as I unplug the TV, all is well again.

Note: My GPU us the Radeon R7 370 (it drives the display quite well normally). The TV is, I believe the Samsung UN65KS8000. This issue persists even if different HDMI cords are used. Radeon drivers are up to date.

I'm really at a loss here guys. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Marc

How are you connecting to the VGA Monitor? VGA is an analog output, and definitely can not support high resolutions, do you mean DVI?
The white bars you mention could be any number of things, more so if this is your VGA Connection, analog signals can be distorted very easily, so it could be a cable, connection, monitor or even GPU Problem, although I was under the impression that the R7 370 has no analog output at all... are you using an adapter or splitter of some kind?

Secondly, unless you have a brand new HDMI Cable that supports the newest generation of 4K, you wouldn't be able to reach 60 Hertz anyway. The login screen is likely appearing because Windows can detect when a new monitor is connected, and by default, the login screen...

The login screen is likely appearing because Windows can detect when a new monitor is connected, and by default, the login screen should appear on boot (Why would you disable it anyway?). As for the login loop, it is possible that your connection to the tv simply isn't liked by the Graphics card, you really should be using DisplayPort for 4K connections. Have you tried to unplug the secondary monitor, and just drive the TV display?
