Hi all!
So, I'm trying to play a game on the TV that I recently got. Note: I have done this flawlessly several times. Normally, I have a two monitor setup. One is connected via DVI and the other by HDMI. My GPU only has one HDMI out. So I unplug the HDMI from the monitor and put it into the TV. Then the second display (VGA one) shows some weird white bars as the TV remains black. After a restart, the monitor remains the same but the TV boots to the login screen. This is weird because I have disabled the login screen through the registry editor. When I try to login, the screen cuts out for a second then takes me right back to the login screen, and I'm stuck in a loop where all I can do is attempt to login. But as soon as I unplug the TV, all is well again.
Note: My GPU us the Radeon R7 370 (it drives the display quite well normally). The TV is, I believe the Samsung UN65KS8000. This issue persists even if different HDMI cords are used. Radeon drivers are up to date.
I'm really at a loss here guys. Any info is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Marc
