Pc any good for gaming

Got this PC for free from a friend moving to another country

i5 2400 3.1 GHZ
Gigabyte GTX 660 2 GB oc Windforce
8 GB Ram
650 GB Hardrive

Is this Pc fine for gaming or do i need to upgrade ?

For free? Wow. Yes, it's a very good PC.

You'll be fine for a decent amount of gaming. You can't max out details, but with proper levels, you'll be able to run most games smoothly.

My daughter uses similar hardware, an i3-6100, GTX 660 and 8GB RAM and is able to play any games she wants so far. Haven't met a game it hasn't handled yet.

I have seen that it can handle most games with ease so far but have not been playing a lot , ARK survival evolved and CS GO is all I play really.
