PC automatically restarts

Specs: i5 -4440, 8gb ram, Asus 750 TI, CORSAIR VS550 PSU.

Whenever I start a game, the pc restarts on the load screen or during browsing it randomly restarts. Earlier it would happen in the middle of the game. I removed my GPU, restarts occur after a few hours of use. GPU has been tested by a friend and it seems to be fine. What could be the issue here?

first thing to consider is the temperature of the components if that restart only occurs after some game so check and see if the ventilation in your case is doing fine and then check it with a fan control software like speed fan. the second it might be the setting in the boot menu that sets the auto restart temperature for the CPU it could be wrong configured.check those things and see if it fixes the problem.

I can confirm there are no issues with temp or ventilation.
