PC Become More Lagging The Longer i Use

Hello there!

I been having this problem on my new PC ever since i bought it last week, 12 September 2011.
The PC performance will become lagging the longer i used without restarting. Normally after 12hours its on.
For example, clicking a file (Video/Picture/Music) at start would take an instant to show, but after some time it would take at least 3~5 second.
However the graphic/video/games doesn't lag, only the matter of accessing it.
I have no solution for this. I tried Google it for hours looking for an explaination and i also ask around, but it was futile. i also have defrag/clean my Hard Disk/ Uninstall any unnecessary programs and update my Windows, and yet the problem still occur.

This is my PC specs

Window 7 Ultimate 64bit
Processor - Intel Core i7 2600 3.40GHZ
RAM - Corsair 4GB 1333Mhz x4 (16GB total)
Hard Disk - Seagate 500GB 32MB Sata 3 (Operating System installed)
Power Supply - Cooler Master GX 750W ver 2.2
Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD7-B3
Graphic Card - Gigabyte GTX 260 896MB 448Bit GDDR3
Casing - Cooler Master RC-692B with 6 casing fan

I also got 2TB Sata 64MB x2 connected.
Also i have Kaspersky Anti Virus 2011 installed

GPU temperature is average at 63.C
Fan speed is at 40%, 1424 RPM
After 16hour my pc is on. (with an online game at quality performance setting the whole time)
Screen resolution 1440x900

i would deeply appreciate any help/info or advice as in whats causing this problem and how to fix it
I have run out of idea, so and i am depending on your help.

A new windows PC will go nuts until it has all required windows service. Run windows update manually repeatedly until you have all critical service applied.

Sometimes a new PC has a lot of background work, like anti-virus full scans, creating disk indexes, applying lots of software maintenance to things like adobe reader. Let it sit powered on for an hour, reboot, repeats a few times. Assume this doesn't fix it.

Open task manager. Open 'resource manager' from the performance tab on task manager. See what your CPU and Disk and Memory are doing. Keep resource manager open. Run for a while. Let things get laggy. Now see what resource manager says..

IS the CPU at 100% -- yes, look at the processes that are running hot and google them.

IS the disk light on your laptop flickering like crazy, use resource manager to find the processes doing a lot of disk IO.

Are you doing a lot of demand paging? You get the idea. Look for the processes that are causing your laptop to lag and find out what they are. Once you find them google for fixes or uninstall them. (Don't shoot things atr random, you'll break something important).

Does it happen when you are accessing files locally and stuff? Same if it was a network issue.

First things first, id download anti malwarebytes, update this and then run a full scan to make sure there are no virus's.

I have updated all the important windows update, whats left is the Optional windows update. I wil try updating that also, n i will look into what u have pointed out
