After I installed an old Radeon hd 7790 to my pc and turn it on I get a single beep which I think is the way it says that it posted and all fans start spinning normally, but I get no signal on the monitor. My first try was with a dvi-a(connected to the gpu) to vga(connected to the monitor) cable and I got the beep with no image.
I thought that the dvi-i port on the gpu might be bad so I tried again with a hdmi cable but the problem persisted.I tried clearing the cmos as well with no result.
There is no problem with the rest of the system because it works just fine when I use my gt 730.
Edit: also tried having both of the cards in thr system at the same time, connecting the cable to the 730. Gpu z identified the card as an radeon 7700 series gpu with no more info. I then tried unistalling the gt730 driver and install the radeon one but system crashed both times I tried. Hope someone can help
