So my computer usually runs EVERYTHING smoothly like tasks and what not and runs games like War Thunder and CSGO at around 120-180 FPS with all the settings maxed out but all of a sudden it cant even run CSGO at a steady 60 FPS with all low settings. Its just become slow and I don't know what to do. My specs are an AMD 6300, GTX 960, 120GB SSD, and x2 TB HDD. I've defragged the hard drives and cleaned my PC physically and digitally, then also checked the power cables to see if maybe its a lack of power and it wasn't. After doing all that there was no change in performance.

Solution
You can try:
- First and foremost uninstall programs in control panel. Who knows maybe there's a bitcoin miner in your system.
- If you have custom themes, revert to the default ones. I know someone whose PC has gotten really slow because of themes.
- This may sound stupid but run dxdiag to see if you're not using a basic graphic adapter.
- Update your drivers.
- Restore your system to what it was before the whole thing happened.
What has changed?
How full is your ssd?
A ssd will slow down and lose endurance as it nears full.
120gb is too small for windows today.

If you have not installed hardware, then it is likely some sort of software maintenance.
Try using system restore to back off to a time when all was well.
