Question PC black screen

1yr old PC beeped three times before shutting down, but the fans continued to run. after restarting, the fans ran, but screen was still blank. Re seating the gpu helped slightly, fixing the problem temporarily before the same thing happened again. Help!
My specs:
i5 3570k (not overclocked)
GTX 1060 6gb (not overclocked)
16gb 1600mhz RAM
450w cx450 PSU
2tb WD green & 120gb kingston ssd

On page 36 I found reference to LEDs lighting up to indicate what the problem was but nothing referencing 3 beeps.

the VGA red light was also on while trying to reboot

Alright then the problem is with the GPU, or GPU slot

probably, but after refitting the gpu the issue repeated itself

refit it again, if it repeats again it's either one or the other. Sorry I can't be of more help. Contacting ASUS Support is the next step.

update: pc appears to be stuck in boot loop. The rgb peripherals turn on, and monitor displays black screen. then signal stops going to the monitor and rgb turns off. REpeats.

I dont know a lot a out computers but you can try to put the gpu in another slot or check that the RAM is properly connected. I had issues with blackscreen but when pushed in the ram until it clicked on both sides it started working again.
