hello friends, recently I bought a new pc from micro center and at seemly random points the screen goes black, when im playing apex for example, the screen will go black ill lose apex audio but i can still hear discord music ect...
so far iv updated my bios (which interestingly enough ever since i updated it wont let me enable xmp it just crashes when i try and enable it doesn't even boot all the way, not sure if related but thought i would include.) the pc originally
came with windows 10 (when the issues started) i upgraded to windows 11 to see if that would fix. I have ddu'd my gpu drivers at least 3-4 times( I also have drivereasy so im 99% sure its not some other random driver), swapped out the graphics card.

this what was in device manager but there are so many errors in it im kind of guessing if this is right issue or not. and otherwise im kind of at a lose as what to do. vengeance

specs: 3070 TI (5700xt in the pc right now since i was testing if it was the gpu), i7-12700kf, PRO Z690-A DDR4, 750W powerspec 80+ gold, cooler master 240 Aio, 32 gigs of corsair vengeance lpx @3200

something also to note there doesn't seem to be any consistent thing that causes it to happen, sometimes i can for like 3-4 hours before it happens sometimes its 10 min, doesn't always have to be while gaming either sometimes ill just be using chrome and it happens.

no i have driver easy for all the other drivers that aren't my gpu, i got my gpu drivers from Nvidia, and could it be temps, could something in the case cause both my gpu's to run hot?

dwm.exe etc: Desktop Window Manager.

Look in Reliability History and Event Viewer for any errors, warnings, and even informational entries that appear just before or at the time of the blackscreens.

Reliability History is user freindly and the time line format can reveal patterns.

Event Viewer requires more time and effort to navigate and understand.

To help:

Look for more details if other errors etc. are found. The details may or may not be helpful.

Then try the built-in Windows troubleshooters. The troubleshooters may find and fix something.

Failing that try "sfc /scannow" and "dism".

Hi

So I have a similaire problème (3070TI notebook) View: https://www.reddit.com/r/razer/comments/106mkky/razer_blade_start_with_screen_black_once_a_week/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

2 solutions I found :
  • If you use a microsoft controller instal " XBOX accessories app "
  • New windows GPU driver instal if that didn't work reinstal windows, if that don't work = faulty GPU, you need to replace.
