My screen is black when i start up my computer it was just fine yesterday !! :/
My lcd screen is fine i can still see options etc. But when I start up nothing 🙁 now remember there's no error messages everything sounds cool so my guess is its the graphics card (440 gt).

Now i have warranty but i may have overclocked once or twice but just for a few seconds just to see how much performance i would get ( silly me :| ). Now what do you guys think about me 2 problems is my gpu dead and if so would my warranty slip away ?

Hope to get a reply soon im dying over here, if my parents know that my gpu is dead lol im dead 🙂 and my gpu is about 1 year and 11 months old so is the rest of my hardware 😀

gt if your motherboard has onboard video see if it working. if there no onboard video see if the mb locked up it happens some times. pull power from the wall and use the cmos clear button or jumper. if nothing shows up on screen...open the case and see if the cpu and gpu fan are moving. on sudden death of pc most times its a cap in the power supply. if you have a local shop that can use a volt meter or power supply tester to see if it went bad or go to the power supply vendor web page and start an rma. most power supply have 3-5 year warranties on them. the only way to test a video card is put in a new one or put the card into another pc.

I do have onboard video but how would i enable it by removing my graphics card ?

Before i pull my gpu ive noticed my pc is much more quiet :| and what's your take on the no red light O.O there seems to be no activity :'(

Dude I have the same problem. I don't know what to do with it. One day it's fine next day nothing loads on the computer screen. Should I take my pc to a repair shop ? I don't the repair to cost more than $60 .

I found my problem reconnected everything and now it works probably a bad connection 😀

refer to my new comment or if u won't just remember to make sure everything is tight
