I was doing some 3D work that put some load on my system, when it suddenly froze for a second, then it gave me a graphical bug that lasted 1 second (some strange green symbols that were spread across the screen) then it gave me a blue screen of death with an error code that had something to do with graphics_x_x

After that crash, when it restarted, no bios or nothing appeared.
The first thing i tried was to remove the graphics card, clear the cmos and retry.

That didn't work so i tried rearange RAM which did nothing.

This is my system:

Ryzen 1700x
Asus Prime x370-Pro
ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Turbo
Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR4 32gb
EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G3, 850W PSU

So my thoughts is either that the CPU is dead or that the motherboard is screwed.

But! It does give me some signs, when i turn on, me keyboard and mouse gets power, and the light that flashes when the computer is working on the case, blinks like the hard drives are working.

Is there any other things i can check before i check if a new CPU/motherboard works?

And how would i know which to buy and test first?

I am able to test if the GPU or PSU works on another system.

Though i did try without the GPU, using mobo hdmi out, but still the same

No way to determine if its the CPU or mobo? would hate to replace both, but i think thats where ill end up.

Thank you will try that later today!

I am guessing the PSU is fine since things get powered like they should.

So if i dont get any bios after testing that, its safe to say its either the Mobo or CPU?
