Hi ive had the pc for a while and the last thing i changed was the gpu to a geforce gtx 1070ti about a year or so a go. Today when i tried to turn the pc on it got caught in a boot loop. Ive tried resetting the bios, resetting windows and the only thing that works is to have no gpu installed. Without one it boots normally and ive tried two of my old gpus aswell. Can anyone think of the reason?

The closest i see to that is intel(r) turbo boost technology.

Motherboard - gigabyte z77-d3h
Cpu - intel(r) core(tm) i5-3570k cpu @ 3.40ghz

After booting it sometimes says bios is corrupted and tries to fix it
