Pc booting but getting no signal on monitor

Hello, i recently bought a new motherboard, graphic card, psu and monitor for my pc. I installed everything right and the pc starts but there is no way to make the monitor get the signal from the new gpu. I tested the monitor and the hdmi cable on another pc and both are working fine. The new components are the following:
- Graphic: Gigabyte nvidia gtx1060
- PSU: Cooler Master Elite 600w
- Motherboard: ASUS M5A78L-M PLUS
- Monitor: HP 24es

How can i fix this situation?

try a new hdmi cable, or better try a vga cable. if there is anything wrong with port or cable, this will fix it.

Plug in the monitor from the other computer just for fun. But I like the gpu for this. Can you re-seat it and if that doesn't help, put it in the other computer ?

I tried both hdmi-vga and vga-vga cables and none is working. Even on my old monitor.

The other pc is a laptop, sorry for not mentioning it before. Anyway i tried "re-seating" it and it still doesn't work.
